Authentically Welsh has been established since 1st March 2013.  Authentically Welsh brings you local foods at the highest quality sourced in the Brecon Beacons or for certain products we have to travel slightly further afield within Wales to find you the best quality. We pride ourselves on only selling products that have been grown, made or manufactured in Wales.
All products are sources, checked and packed by hand so they leave us and arrive to you in perfect condition. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase then please contact Authentically Welsh direct.

MAKING A PURCHASE

Hamper orders can be placed at any time and delivery is upto 72 hours by a Nationwide Delivery Courier, Parcel Force.  Please advise us when you order if you want the delivery on a specified date.
Making a purchase is made easy – browse our Hampers & add items to shopping cart, then click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for your details and delivery address.  We accept credit and debit card payments, although debit cards are preferred.
Payment will be taken at submission of order and credit card information is taken directly in an encrypted form by our bank’s secure and safe payment service provider, Paypal.
It is a legal requirement that you must be 18 years and over to buy alcohol so by agreeing with Authentically Welsh’s terms and conditions you agree that you, the purchaser, of the Hampers containing alcohol are over 18 years of age.
Please note before placing your order you must carefully read the Terms and Conditions. Please tick the box to confirm you have done this.

DELIVERY & COST

Delivery charge is £9.95 to mainland Wales & England.  There will be an extra charge for Scotland, the Highlands, Northern & Southern Ireland so please email for total charge.  If you request a Saturday delivery you must call us on 01874 730189 to make specific arrangements.
Hampers are dispatched 72 hours of receiving your order unless specified date and delivered by Nationwide Delivery Courier for charge of £9.95 Monday to Friday. There is a surcharge for Saturday delivery of £25.00

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Authenticallywelsh.co.uk uses its own transportation for delivering within 5 miles radius and reputable national courier companies who guarantee that your goods will arrive in suitable condition.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

All goods, Hampers and Gifts, will be despatched within 72 hours of order received by reputable courier Parcel Force for a current charge of £9.95 Monday to Friday.   Parcel Force require a signature on receipt of delivery and if there is no authorised person to sign they will attempt delivery the following day (Monday to Friday) or collect from depot.
Holiday Cottages Only
We will make every effort to have your goods delivered on the day you have requested between 2pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday. However, we will not be liable if we fail to do so due to circumstances beyond our control. Delivery is made to the address specified upon the order form (shipping address). It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct delivery address, recipient name and contact telephone number.
All deliveries are required to receive a signature to complete the order. If for any reason there is no authorised recipient when the food order is delivered to your holiday cottage then an email will be sent to the person ordering and the cottage owner to confirm the time and place the order has been delivered.
All courier deliveries are MONDAY TO FRIDAY only, there is an additional charge of £25.00 for a Saturday delivery.  No deliveries on Sunday.

PAYMENT METHODS AND TERMS

All transactions are in £ sterling. Payment for all orders can be taken online by credit/debit cards or by telephone by invoice to pay directly to bank or cheque (cheque only made payable to: Authentically Welsh). Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full. If your requested date cannot be achieved we will contact you immediately to rearrange.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Your order can be cancelled at any time up to 7 days before dispatch, where you will receive a full refund.  However, if the purchase has been made by a credit or debit card or cheque there will be a charge of £10.50 to cover all administration charges.
No products can be returned or refund given if they have been opened, resealed, damaged or used.  Please note that the customer is liable for all postage costs if the goods need to be returned.
In the event of any breakages we must be notified within 24 hours by receipt of goods either by email info@authenticallywelsh.co.uk or telephone 01874 730189, where we will rectify the problem as soon as possible.  No postage for returned items will be paid by Authentically Welsh.

PACKAGING

It is very important to us that the food products arrive in perfect condition so they are checked and packed by hand and that we do not use excessive packaging producing unnecessary waste. So we aim to get the right combination of style and sustainability making sure that the packaging we do use are able to be recycled easily.  For the Hampers we use natural and environmentally friendly wood wool, which is produced from home grown softwood, timber in Newport, Wales so it can be easily recycled. The greaseproof paper and/or wax paper and the strong ‘outer’ box are both useful to reuse or again easily recycled.
All Hamper products are secured within the handmade wicker hamper by the wood wool  and all glass goods are bubble wrapped so they leave us and arrive to you, in perfect condition.
Hampers are handmade from the finest autumn Willow and have beautiful leather straps and fastenings. The willow used is coppiced from fast-growing regenerating crops that are cultivated solely for this purpose, sustaining traditional farming methods without the use of chemical application.
There is an additional charge made for the wicker hamper or Authentically Welsh dark green jute bag.
The options are – 1 Wicker Hamper 2 Branded Jute Bag 3 Standard – the items are loose in the delivery box with padding to ensure safe delivery.  Please note there is no presentation box with Standard, the items are loose.

FOOD PRODUCTS

Products we offer are more likely to be found in specialist food shops or food festivals rather than the supermarket. We will make every effort to supply the original products listed on the website however some items may change depending on seasonal availability or short supply. Authentically Welsh reserve the right to substitute any such item of equal or greater value than the original.

OTHER IMPORTANT FOOD INFORMATION

Some products may have been frozen – do not refreeze any produce
Eat chilled products within 7 days (except cheese, fish & meats which will be marked with its own Best before Date)
Authentically Welsh cannot offer any guarantees that food made by us or other producers may not contain trace of nuts or any other allergens.
A full list of food is provided for each food delivered to your fridge or Hamper. Photographic props have been used for illustration purposes only and are not included in the list of food.
